Hawthorne Nest Box

Made with a whitewashed wooden exterior and a soft blue coloured roof, our Hawthorne Nest Box combines stylish design and functionality. It also features a removable plate on the back for simple cleaning, making it an ideal choice for small garden birds like blue tits, great tits, and finches. For optimal results, place the nesting box between 2 and 5 metres above ground, out of reach of predators, and facing in a northeasterly or southeasterly direction to avoid harsh sunlight and westerly winds.

NOTE: Nesting is most likely during April and May and, in the event of chicks hatching, there will be frenetic feeding activity by the parent birds. Take care not to disturb during this time, as any intervention may result in the eggs or young being abandoned by the parent birds.
