  • FABULOUS FRONDS... ARE THEY FAUX REAL?

Strikingly dramatic ferns have long been favourites in our houseplant repertoire. But for all the visual impact their leafy fronds offer, keeping a healthy specimen requires just the right light, along with careful attention to temperature and moisture that can be difficult to achieve at home.

Enter the Faux Fern. Admittedly, this option lacks the gardener’s sense of pride in their thriving plant – but every home has at least one corner where lack of light, a drafty window or curious child ensures that no living plant will survive for long. It’s in these places that we love the addition of a well-appointed faux specimen to complete our indoor gardening desire.

Staghorn Fern

We have some stunning faux specimen plants in store, including Staghorn ferns – the gorgeous and botanical muse of plant enthusiasts and home designers everywhere! These incredibly lifelike epiphytes offer a stylish alternative to the real thing. Available in a small pot, they look fantastic ‘en masse’ in a shallow planter finished with moss around the top. We also have larger specimens, planted in smooth clay pots – perfect for adding height and drama to a table arrangement.

Maidenhair Fern

With its feathery light foliage and lace-like leaves, a Maidenhair fern will add immediate texture and structure. Place on a mantle or occasional table and embrace its delicate beauty – ready for display in a soft grey wash terracotta pot this plant will add colour to any room all year long with its remarkably realistic, feathery fronds.

Boston Fern

A Boston fern is perhaps the most common fern known to man and our vibrant and green plants add endless texture and colour to indoor arrangements. Remarkably realistic, this faux potted plant brings an everlasting burst of freshness to indoor spaces and suits any one of our wonderful glazed indoor pots.

Tantalisingly lifelike, this seasons collection of faux ferns can be placed anywhere in your home without having to worry about light, drafts and remembering to water! Place on mantles, sills and occasional tables and embrace their lush beauty…
