  • New Spring Collection

Spring is tantalizingly close – the very faint warmth of the sun can just be felt and with it comes a yearning for freshness and thoughts of the season ahead.

This week we welcomed an abundance of new home and garden wares; the latest arrivals from our recent buying trips – garden furniture, stoneware and statuary as well as a wide collection of handpicked pieces from near and far.

The desire to bring the changing seasons into our homes is inescapable – subtly adding to the layers of your home with a few very special pieces is where the fun begins. As always, Hamish and I have left no stone unturned in order to find and introduce to the shop many wonderful items both old and new.

Our edit of the new collection includes a stunning range of concrete pots and planters; a heavy round vintage table with elaborate cast iron base – perfect for four (and we have the most charming set of vintage wicker chairs) due in any day; a collection of millstones, some of which are large enough for table tops, and an elegant oak love seat made by furniture designer Andrew Crace.

For the garden – some fabulous garden stoneware including a large bust of Michael Angelo’s David which stands on a mossy column. Our garden furniture includes a cast iron bench and table set; silvered teak table and chair sets by Alexander Rose, and a charming wooden coffee table with matching chairs for two – perfect for a small patio or gravel garden.

This season our new homewares include a very desirable and contemporary range of recycled glassware – from wine glasses and hurricane lanterns to elegant vases in all shapes and sizes. Adding to this mix, is a new range of subtly detailed linen textiles, metal trays (perfect for alfresco dining), slate coasters, trivets and place mats.

Finally, a new collection of pretty tea light holders in mouthwatering colours is just in – as is a new range of crackle glazed pots, milky hued vases, and of course all set off by the verdancy of our new collection of house and conservatory plants – architectural palms, ornamental figs and feathery ferns to name a few!

We look forward to welcoming you this Spring…
